High expectations shattered!

I don't mean to moan, but after our movie tonight we thought we'd stop at Burger King as it was close to the cinema complex.

Our ticket had one of those "buy one cheeseburger, get one free" things, and not to miss a bargin, mum thought it was a good idea. Well you would think it would be, but no.

After wating in the queue for ages; I figured this was not worth the wait, but as a matter of principle, I stayed in line. When the girl told me how much it came to, I was almost floored; nearly £4 for a burger!

And it wasn't like it was all that; now, I'm not a conesure of food or anything, but I know half decent food when I taste it; and that was definatly not as good as it used to be.

And my niece's kids meal didn't even come in a box; just a brown bad; which we paid 5p for the priviledge!

I sometimes wish I still lived in the 80's, hey, I'll take the 90's if it gives me back a decent cheeseburger and chips!!!!
