Elf-ing about!

I've been gone a while, and I do have a reason for being AWOL; I've been stifled with this flu that's been floating around.

But I have a few things to post so I hope you're all not disappointed!

Having my nephews and my brother and his girlfriend come up for Christmas's is a little exciting for me; seeing as I've not seen them in a year, and my new newphew, who's six months old nearly, I've never even met yet; CAN NOT wait to give them both some BIG cuddles.

And then I get it in my head that we SHOULD do this elf on a shelf that's all the rage at the moment.

So, off I go, sculking around Pinterest, and find all sorts of ideas; including buying or even making a door! Thought I'd give it a go at making one out of popsicle sticks, and it sort of turned into one of my favourite projects!

All I did was glue about eight sticks together.

While it dried I played with all sorts of ideas to make the wreath; there was no doubt in my mind there HAD to be one! Then I had an idea all of my own; i strung some beads from my bead box together and turned a scrap piece of red wool into a ribbon and stuck it on. The "door handle's" another bead I found in there as well.
